I Told You So...

I said that I would keep up with this thing people...so here it goes. We had another wonderful, busy, nutty couple weeks. First, Casey Bear graduated from kindergarten! I have posted pics. She proudly announced her intentions to be a surgeon. Take that all you princess, ballerina, pony trainers! Second, I would like to say job well done to the newly minted Lt. Commander Adam Taff. He has finally made O4! We also found out Friday that he made Dept. Head! He will now bring his iron hand of tyranny...I mean considerable knowledge and experience...to running part of a squadron next year! Congratulations Sir, you are now part of the problem! (That is a little nugget of Navy wisdom). Adam and I also had to suffer through a Dining Out. I am sorry... I should say I had to suffer. Adam loves these pretentious ceremonies. I love the open bar! Adam likes to wear his mess dress finest. I would too if I shelled out $600 for it! Wait a minute...I did shell out $600 for it! I had better see some comments about how fabulous he looks people! Last but not least, I have to give a shout out to my sweet baby James who took first place in the Cub Scouts Pinewood Derby! He built and painted his own car and took 1st place! James has his last week of school this week. I will post the pics of his Field Day activities and class party next week. Until then...adieu!
